It can open people's eyes to the breadth of rhe deception and manipulation we've been subject to.

As just one example of some great insight, how the whole fear of being labelled anti-semitic, fear of the Israel lobby, as well as guilt about the Holocaust played a role in the inaction of our governments and politicians, giving impunity to Israel to commit the worst cruelty we have seen in our lifetimes.

So when people ask how we could let this happen, this would be a good answer. Ironically even giving this answer causes anxiety for some, including me in the past, proving the argument. When I see numerous recent posts prefacing valid criticism of the starvation for example with "I am not anti-semitic" - I am saddened they feel the need to say the obvious and fall into that trap. Once you start in a defensive position...But I understand why. I used to do it too until I wised up.
