I recall reading Judy Blume's teen love novel 'Forever' around 1980...
I guess her really big work around that time was something called "Wifey". I never did read that one,
but from reputation it was even more 'adult' than 'Forever'.....
And, so far as I have heard, it is totally unnecessary for anyone to believe
that they have to step forward to "save sex"----
What they seem to mean is that they want to define sexual identification for everyone as sex at birth
