Whether it's Oklahoma or some other deep red state, they're filled to the brim with hypocrites. Where do all these Trump-loving cultish televangelists originate? Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee.... plus a few other Confederate states. It's in their blood to lie and call it "godly". Chances are -- if someone is for televangelists, they're for Trump. They go hand-in-hand. They love lies and fairy tales, they love myths about a 6,000 year-old planet, and the whole 9 yards. They love their guns. They feel righteous in hating immigrants, Blacks, Asians, non-whites and non-evangelicals. They get pleasure watching cruelty leveled on refugees and the homeless. They are the opposites of Christ, yet claim total devotion to Him. But Trump is actually their current Savior, their Messiah chosen by God for this period. No wonder we're in perilous times!

The "conservative" Christian mindset is that we are ALL sinful, which is why the fear of God and authoritarian father-figures is necessary to keep us in line. BUT, if you're a Christian, you're entitled to pray away the sin and God will forgive you, so of course other Christians should too. It's only if you're not a Christian that sin condemns you to hell.

Board members: TV in Ryan Walters’ office displayed nude women during executive session
By Tres Savage and Sasha Ndisabiye | Friday, July 25, 2025

Two members of the Oklahoma State Board of Education were “shocked and mad” when they saw a video featuring “naked women” on the television screen in Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters’ office during the executive session portion of Thursday’s meeting.

While neither Becky Carson nor Ryan Deatherage could tell what video was displaying nude women on Walters’ office TV, each told NonDoc they were the only people seated in a position to see the screen. Deatherage said he noticed the video first while a parent was speaking about her appeal of a district transfer denial. As Deatherage weighed his options about how to bring the video to the room’s attention, Carson noticed the nudity.

“I was like, ‘What am I seeing?’ I kind of was in shock, honestly. I started to question whether I was actually seeing what I was seeing,” Carson said. “I was like, ‘Is that woman naked?’ And then I was like, ‘No, she’s got a body suit on.’ And it happened very quickly, I was like, ‘That is not a body suit.’ And I hate to even use these terms, but I said, ‘Those are her nipples.’ And then I was looking closer, and I got a full-body view, and I was like, ‘That is pubic hair.’ Even right now, I couldn’t even tell you what I was watching.”

As Carson processed what she was seeing, she said “the mama bear and teacher in me came out” and she “stopped the meeting cold” by confronting Walters.

“I was so disturbed by it, that I was like — very loudly and boastfully, like I was a parent or a teacher — I said, ‘What is on your TV? What am I watching?’ He was like, ‘What? What are you talking about?’ He stood up and saw it. He made acknowledgment that he saw it,” Carson recalled. “And I said, ‘Turn it off. Now.’ And he was like, ‘What is this? What is this?’ So he acknowledged it was inappropriate just by those words. And he was like, ‘I can’t get it to turn off. I can’t figure out how to turn it off.’ And I said, ‘Get it turned off.’ So he finally got it turned off, and that was the end of it. He didn’t address it. He didn’t apologize. Nothing was said.”

There are people like this sleazebag in Oklahoma. If they are in a position of responsibility or power, they proudly call themselves Republicans. How would we know? There are no people with responsibility and power in Oklahoma who are not Republicans.

to validate the claim. I don't work in that part of IT (programmer here) but I'm pretty sure that at a minimum, the site should show up in router logs.

Was it really his work computer? (I skimmed the article and it said it was on his office TV). If it was, there would likely be other traces.

OF COURSE, it is most likely that anything useful has been scrubbed. "overwritten accidentally" or some shit.

If I understand correctly, 2 Dem board members made the claim. Regardless what we all here think, we should expect hard evidence to be presented if possible. I believe it should be possible - most of us have tracking crap on our work computers even if we don't know it.

Oklahoma is a religious hotbed which could be a good thing. The problem is while they are in their church buildings, they talk how we should all live our lives and be moral. When they walk out the door to go to their cars the discussed ideals are left in the building and the biased hate filled Republican backers on the prowl.

“My first reaction was, I thought maybe somehow, you know, the Jerry Springer Show got on there and something was blurred out,” said Chris Van Dehende, Oklahoma State Department of Education board member.

Van Dehende says based on Walter’s reaction it was clear this was not the case.

“All I can say is having been in the room, not seeing what was on the TV, but seeing the reactions to Becky Carson primarily, and Ryan Walters reaction to what he saw when he spun around and saw the TV,” said Van Dehende. “Something clearly was on that TV that shouldn’t have been on that TV. Why It was on, I don’t know.”

https://kfor.com/news/local/investigation-inquiry-underway-after-bombshell-reports-say-board-members-saw-naked-women-on-ryan-walters-office-tv-during-meeting/?ipid=promo-link-block1

On Friday, Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tem Lonnie Paxton (R-Tuttle) and Senate Education Chair Adam Pugh (R-Edmond) announced the state’s Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) has opened an investigation inquiry looking into the allegations.

In a statement, Paxton told News 4:

“This is a bizarre and troubling situation that raises serious questions about the events and what took place during yesterday’s executive session at the Oklahoma State Board of Education meeting. The accounts made public by board members paint a strange, unsettling scene that demands clarity and transparency. Senator Pugh and I appreciate the quick action by OMES to help coordinate through this situation to get details on exactly what happened. More transparency is essential before strong conclusions can be drawn.”

In another statement, Pugh told News 4:

“The reports coming out of Thursday’s Board of Education meeting raise a number of questions. This is a situation that warrants further explanation and transparency. Additionally, Superintendent Walters and those making the allegations deserve to be heard and give their side of the story. I appreciate the efforts by everyone who are taking these allegations seriously. We’ll be watching closely as more information comes to light.”

This story is not going away. Hopefully it will drive a dagger into any future political hopes that Walters has.

Ryan Walters was already controversial, but alleged images of naked women on his office television during a board meeting have made matters vastly worse.

Another religious fraud demanded bibles be placed in all classrooms in Oklahoma … while he watched porn during an online meeting.

Oklahoma schools’ chief faces investigation over adult content seen during board meeting www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddo...

@jimrissmiller.bsky.social 2025-07-29T20:03:27.083Z

https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/oklahoma-schools-chief-faces-investigation-adult-content-seen-board-me-rcna221674

But now the radical activist is facing a different kind of problem. NBC News reported:

A sheriff’s office in Oklahoma is investigating an incident during a state Board of Education meeting last week that reportedly involved images of naked women on the state school superintendent’s office television. The images were seen during the board’s executive session, held in Superintendent Ryan Walters’ office, The Oklahoman newspaper of Oklahoma City reported, citing members Ryan Deatherage and Becky Carson, who attended the meeting.

....Indeed, Walters isn’t exactly benefiting from an outpouring of support from his fellow GOP officials. Two leading Republicans in the Legislature, including Senate President Pro Tem Lonnie Paxton, issued a statement late last week on a separate investigation into the matter.

This is a bizarre and troubling situation that raises serious questions about the events and what took place during yesterday’s executive session at the Oklahoma State Board of Education meeting,” Paxton said. Board members’ accounts, he added, “paint a strange, unsettling scene that demands clarity and transparency.”

State House Speaker Kyle Hilbert, who’s also a Republican, called the allegations “serious” and said that “an expeditious third-party review is warranted.”.....

Waters has called an Oklahoma teachers' union a “terrorist organization.” He’s partnered with a far-right propaganda outlet, bringing its materials into classrooms. He pushed a social studies curriculum guidance that directed educators to push pro-Trump conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election.

At one point last fall, as my MSNBC colleague Ja’han Jones noted, Waters even wanted to require schools to show children a video of him praying for Donald Trump — though the state attorney general’s office said that couldn’t happen.

It’s against this backdrop that the radical official is suddenly facing a new and unusual kind of mess. Watch this space.
