Normal golfers challenge themselves to get better. That's what is so addicting about the game. Why does he even bother? It's obviously not for the exercise.

Sure, everyone knew it forever, but life is a complex system with unexpected tipping points.

AFAIK a bunker is a legitmate obstacle that's in play as much as the fairway and the rough. I've never seen anybody just move the ball out of a bunker and add a stroke. It would surely happen occasionally for impossible deep bunker shots buried just under the lip.

He's a well-known cheater.

In slow motion. What a cheater. Wonder what their excuse will be about why someone had to plant a ball for him? And, you also wonder, does he do that at every golf game?

He's a proven, notorious stroke shaver.
One example recounted by a touring pro:
• Hits 2nd shot in water. The point where it crossed the hazard was 30 yards short of the green.
• He drops next to the green where the ball landed.
• Hits a chip to 12'.
• Picks up, calls it a 4.
It was 5 strokes, plus the penalty, or 6. That doesn't count the penalty stroke for dropping in the wrong place.
Shave 1 to 3 strokes 8 to 10 times a round and a 94 becomes a 75.
Having a caddy drop a ball is mild cheating compared to simply lying about what he actually shot on a hole . TEN TIMES A ROUND!

it was a windy chilly October day and after the round Graham gushed about Trump shooting a 74 and how great he was at golf.

I believe Graham was ordered to say that on penalty of exposure.

We have seen his swing & his putting stroke. He does not shoot in the 70s.
Also, remember that Graham said he was "booming" drives down fairway.
78 year olds do jot boom drive.
By 78 yo, Jack Nicklaus wasn't hitting it 225, and he was Jack Freakin' Nicklaus.
Graham is a toady, and he's never been anything else.
