Drop a ball for Trump! Drop a ball for Trump!
We act like his supporters only look the other way when Trump gets caught with the gamut of crimes and sins that he's been guilty of, but it's far worse.
I like a good metaphor, and nothing best explains Trump's longevity in public office and private business than the caddie who dropped a ball on the fairway for him today. Pam Bondi and all the other stooges that Trump appointed are ball dropping caddies. They're all working together so at the end of the day, Trump can parade around a score that he could never have received on his own and brag to those he cheated from the scores they received properly.
And Trump returns the favor in ways that he doesn't bother hiding. If not special appointments, then muzzling government oversight or giving government approvals for industries that should be regulated. It's an arrangement that would meet the test of R.I.C.O.
So, while people like Chris Matthews are claiming that people are gravitating to Trump because of his appearance of strength, let's be sure we remind him that he could do nothing without the thousand of ball droppers out there that are smoothing the course for him, allowing him to play through. How we break through this juggernaut, is proving difficult because our system of government did not expect to see this level of division and corruption in this country.

How do we use it to defeat him or at least nullify the advantage?
A rhetorical question. Also an important question.

(37,848 posts)Let's start by Reverse Engineering the cheater's main method of cheating. (Cheaters, especially if they've been doing it a long time, only have a few methods.) This cheater moves through the course and typically has a number of enablers move ahead and drop a ball in the most opportune position no matter where the cheater's previous stroke landed the ball. Of course, this cheater is immune to anyone pointing out that they are cheating, because they feel entitled to cheat and they throw a fit often making it about the person who's pointing out their incessant cheating. The cheater is backed up on this by those enablers who drop the balls for the cheater.

(52,344 posts)Just saw a good video of someone who analyzed videos of his golf cheating style. It now isnt hard to see the parallel that his stooges are doing for him to facilitate his dream state as he performs his daily presidential duties.
