When will enough be enough?

At the time, I thought that if Sandy Hook didn't change gun laws, then nothing ever will. And here we are. It turns out I was right. Sadly.

There was a story about an upcoming program to teach some local school kids about how to treat gunshot wounds. And just in time for back-to-school! While the reporter prattled on, there were pics of the kids smiling and showing off their new tourniquet skills.

Why have reasonable gun laws when we can just teach all the kids to be junior EMTs?
