From where it is happening. Helicopters and police everywhere. Local News is saying they think the shooter has shot himself on the 33rd floor of the building he entered.

19. The office building is 345 Park Avenue at 51st St; per the NYPD Commish the shooter is 'neutralized', reports say it was

suicide.

The building covers a full block, and is more than 40 stories high. Thank goodness he didn't sit at a window on an upper floor and start shooting.

They received numerous 911 calls from the 32nd/33rd floors.

I've been in the building a few times over the years. It's an office building with an assortment of tenants.

It took a while, but I don’t think of escape routes every time I go anywhere.

Turns out there are gun laws here.

edited to add: You can open carry in Las Vegas but you need a permit to carry concealed.
