Another round of severe weather to move into South Dakota into Minnesota!

Several tornadoes have already touched down along the South Dakota/Nebraska border. They are expected heavy rain, possible hail, winds and tornadoes move through the the Sioux Falls area later tonight. Winds up 100 mph are possible.

I work for a company southeast of Sioux Falls. My pickup is parked there! Fingers crossed that it won’t be that bad?

Hope everyone stays safe!

After last night's storms we had 75,000 without power. Throughout the day that number dropped below 30,000. (Unfortunately I am among those 30k)
After tonight's storm we have climbed to over 120,000 without power.

Today's heat index passed 95. Tomorrow it will be about 90 but we have an air quality alert with smoke from wildfires moving in.
