DOJ files misconduct complaint against chief DC Judge James Boasberg

The Justice Department filed a misconduct complaint Monday against U.S. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg, a prominent Washington, D.C., judge who has drawn President Donald Trump's ire, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said on X.

Boasberg said in April that the Trump administration appeared to have acted "in bad faith" when it hurriedly assembled three deportation flights on March 15 at the same time that he was conducting emergency court proceedings to assess the legality of the effort.

"Today at my direction, @TheJusticeDept filed a misconduct complaint against U.S. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg for making improper public comments about President Trump and his Administration," Bondi said, without specifying which comments was she referring to.

...the judge was speaking about the administration in the context of THEIR misconduct.

THIS president and this republican party believe they are above the law and can talk down to a co-equal branch of government exercising their duty to uphold the laws of the country.

Subverting those laws doesn't render this administration invoilable or immune from criticism from courts, especially when it relates to their illegal conduct.

The point is to embarrass the judge, make any further decisions he issues vs. the government suspect, and place him in MAGA's crosshairs for the purpose of harassment and intimidation.

if Stormy Daniel’s misled us all about the, er……..’qualities’ of DonOLD. Look at these female attorneys going out of their way to ‘stand up’ for DonOLD, perhaps the way he can for them!

My GAWD, what a hog he is - and what does that all say about ‘Parking Garage Habba’ and ‘Barbie Bondi?’
