4. I don't understand the need for assault rifles.

IMO, people who own assault rifles are mentally ill, for sure paranoid. Some people in my small town that has no violent crime to speak of, have loaded weapons throughout their houses. One guy has a rifle with a strobe light mounted on it to blind the hordes of marauding zombies.
