Why is Trump shifting away from Bibi and Putin?

Last edited Tue Jul 29, 2025, 06:42 AM - Edit history (1)

Is there a special reason why?

I think he’s being pressured by his own party and administration?

I maybe wrong, but it wasn’t to long ago he was siding with them pretty much every single time! Just like his wonkies do now!

Absent substantive/meaningful/effective actions there is no shifting away, just more bullshit from the biggliest bullshitter in the world. IOW, a non-story.

He is a failure keeping his promises so he has to make Bibi and Putin the enemies now.

obsessed with wanting to win a Nobel Prize.

I think somebody told him that there is no way he'd get a Nobel Prize if he aligned himself with the likes of Bibi and Putin. I'm thinking that's why he's been angling to move from some of his former positions and try and sound more like he's really concerned about things like genocide, people starving, the Ukraine being bombed by Vlad. etc.

I think he's in a mindset to do anything he can to make it look like he cares about such things - because he knows that if he kept on his former path - there is no way in hell he'd ever be considered for a Nobel.

This obsession he has - is driving his every move. However, this Epstein thing is really throwing a monkey wrench in his plan. He knows that his associations with Jeffy Boy won't win him the prize that's why he's trying to do everything he can to put this scandal behind him - even pardon or help G. Maxwell get out of prison - cause he thinks that will help his cause.

As a man that has such an obsession - he doesn't think like you or I. He's got a warped sense of good and evil Right and wrong. Winning and losing.

He thinks like he can manipulate a win here and get what he wants - just like he's been successful up to now of getting his own way.

calling him tough. He has done nothing to Russia, but he has withheld promised arms again from Ukraine. He is cheering Bibi on and encouraging him to finish it, while he shakes his head about the recently discovered starving children in Gaza.

He has no interest in the lives of Americans. Why in the world would anyone believe he wants to feed the people of Gaza?

Oh look, I am the nice guy!

They both flattered him to play to his ego and his idiot followers. They just needed him to dither long enough to get what they wanted.

In Bibi's case, he want to annex Gaza and the West Bank. Bibi wants to eliminate the possibility of a Palestinian state. Oct 7 was a godsend for him. It was the perfect opportunity for him. Trump will probably let him do it. He might ruffle Trump's feathers, but yhe'll smooth them the next time they talk, and he puffs up his ego.

In Putin's case, I think Putin thinks he just needs Trump to to dither, which he is doing. Putin had hoped that his summer offensive would finally break through in Ukraine. It looked like it might, but in the last week or so, the Ukrainians blunted and even pushed back the Russian offensive in Sumy. The question is will Putin keep stringing Trump along and will Trump fall for it. Trump doesn't want o be wrong about his good friend Vladimir, so I think Trump will be lead around by the nose.... AGAIN.

If he can somehow finagle a deal with Putin or Bibi to bend a bit he can claim he "made peace" and must be awarded the prize.

But at the end of the day, he has yet to do shit. These men are playing him as the EU just did and Japan. Everyone has the same book on Trump. He isn't hard to read. Look at Wall Street they've gone to completely ignoring him. Trump is a joke.
