Russia - 144 million people spread across 11 time zones
Bangladesh - 176 million in an area the size of Greece or Wisconsin
China - wider than mainland USA - 1 time zone
India - just surpassed China as the most populous country

Canadian geographic knowledge is fairly evenly distributed.

But I'll take your motive as wanting to be informative and I applaud that.
