tRump says federal staff can encourage co-workers to "re-think" religious beliefs, Supervisors can solicit employees

Civil servants can seek to "persuade others of the correctness of their own religious views,” the Office of Personnel Management said in the memorandum to federal agencies, adding employees must ensure their efforts are “not harassing in nature.” OPM issued the guidance to restore constitutional freedoms and enable feds to practice their religious practices without fear of retaliation, the agency said.

“Federal employees should never have to choose between their faith and their career,” OPM Director Scott Kupor said. “This guidance ensures the federal workplace is not just compliant with the law but welcoming to Americans of all faiths.”

As an example of the new policy, OPM said that during a break one employee can engage another “in polite discussion of why his faith is correct and why the non-adherent should rethink his religious beliefs." The employee should stop if the “nonadherent” colleague asks him to, according to the guidance.

The guidance is not entirely a departure from existing federal policy. The Labor Department has for at least several years maintained guidance that suggests “employees who seek to proselytize in the workplace should cease doing so with respect to any individual who indicates that the communications are unwelcome.”

Meaning, "well-meaning" arrogant Christian zealots should be able to tell non-Christian's they're going to hell because they're only trying to "save" them.

Meaning, welcoming to "well-meaning" arrogant Christian zealots and hostile to anyone who has to choose between listening to them or quitting.

If a person asks to hear these views it should happen in a personal or public environment--not a workplace. Anyone spouting off about "the correctness of their own religious views" at work should be reprimanded--not encouraged.

So, I can politely tell my co-worker, supervisor or even someone from another division or project to please stop trying to get me to join their cult version, and they will, right?
I won't have to eventually be outright or aggressively rude, or threaten to go to HR to get them to stop, will I?
I won't have to be the one that has to isolate myself from them, rather than put up with their constant pushing to "see the light" and be part of their clique to be accepted?
I won't be the one being retaliated against, because I must be demonic or damned not to be part of their clique, so they just can't have me polluting their workplace?
This screams "Let's make a Hostile Workplace for anyone that makes us religious snowflakes uncomfortable..."
