Trump's dream of building a ballroom at the White House is becoming a reality

The renderings are complete, the architects and contractors have been hired. After at least 15 years of talking about it, President Trump is building a ballroom at the White House. According to the White House, the work will begin this September, with a price tag of $200 million.

"President Trump is a builder at heart and has an extraordinary eye for detail," said White House chief of staff Susie Wiles in a statement on Thursday. "The President and the Trump White House are fully committed to working with the appropriate organizations to preserving the special history of the White House while building a beautiful ballroom that can be enjoyed by future Administrations and generations of Americans to come."

Could be one of the kids, or one of his Televangelist/Hedge Fund FOAs (Friends of the Administration ) who want to use the White House as the backdrop for a huge grifting event venue.
Honestly, think about it.
"Come to the White House, visit with the Leader of the Free World, be part of a World Changing Event!". Possibly hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Grift and lots of skinny, big lipped botoxed mature ladies in tight spangled dresses, stiletto heels, hanging on the arms of buck-toothed nepo-babies trying to look important and relive their private school glory days.

As I read here not to long ago, this was what was expected of him at least by the author of the piece. The Hall of Mirrors, as I read, is seen as both an example of excess and an architectural/design joke.

The East Room of the White House has a capacity of about 200 people for a seated dinner. It's the largest room in the White House and is used for a variety of events, including dances, receptions, concerts, and ceremonies, according to the Clinton White House archives. For larger events, the White House has traditionally used outdoor tents on the South Lawn. However, a new ballroom with a 650-person capacity is under construction.

The floor area is about 55,000 square feet. Donnie Dumbass proposes to nearly double that for a ballroom? A ballroom? The piece of shit has held two state dinners. Two.
Jeffrey Epstein may be dead, but I question what kind of ball[ing] this “room” will be used for.

Where are they going to put it? The northern part of the south lawn is a hell-port. The southern half has a large fountain, as does the north lawn. Is one of those going to be ripped out like the Rose Garden? Who gave this tasteless piece of shit carte blanche to fuck with OUR White House?
