Totally random, bizarre price observation

We've lived here in western NC for nearly 6 years - we shop at a small local Ingles. We add canned pumpkin to our dog's meals. The entire time we've been here, a large can of Laura Lynn pumpkin puree costs 3.59. Cost hasn't budged up or down an inch.

Pumpkin puree inflation proof? TFG proof?

Told ya it was an odd observation!

Always... not a sale, and as far as I know, it is just a simple production process produced in several places across the US. Well, the other day, I saw a man washing his windshield with (dilute?) isopropyl alcohol--which would help melt ice in the winter, but does a hellacious impact on the rubber sealings around the windshield under summer's hot sun, so I asked him about it. He told me that wiper fluid was now $3.99/gallon and that, having run short on his groceries this month, he just couldn't afford that.

That is infuriating... 33% increase--for what? It is mostly water to begin with.
