Anybody here know the numbers as to how many votes Kamala Harris missed out on because of Gaza?

While I watch my country be completely destroyed, while I watch Republicans arrest Democrats to force them to let the Republicans illegally gerrymander their state, I’m wondering if something happened in 2024 that happened not that long ago, happened again maybe?

Before I discuss it further I would really need to know how many potential voters said no to Kamala because of Gaza, an absurd and stupid reason to do it but you know, that need for candidates to be 100% pure in order to get their support, I’m sincerely asking I would like to know if anyone has dove that deep into the numbers.

but US Muslims are reportedly 53-42 Democratic-Republican. Not a huge difference.

I would be interested in finding out what percentage of Gaza voters could have found it on a map 5 years ago, attended even one Gaza protest in the last two decades while Gaza was being treated like a pressure cooker, or who have been to even one protest over Saudi Arabia bombing Yemen with US weapons. I would also be interested where to find those Gaza voters at Lowe's. I would presume in the "Tools" section.

I did not know them during the 2016 primaries. They may have voted for Bernie, but were Hillary supporters in the general. Likewise, we had quite a large primary field in 2020 and everyone supported Biden in the general. I know one of them was a Warren supporter in the 2020 primary.

Mon Aug 4, 2025, 06:32 PM
Aug 2025
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today released the first set of results from its 2024 exit poll of 1,575 verified American Muslim voters.

The national results show Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein received 53% of the Muslim vote, followed by President-elect Donald Trump with 21% and Vice President Kamala Harris with 20%.

CAIR also released Michigan-specific responses from 502 registered Muslim voters, revealing that Dr. Stein received 59% support, with Trump at 22% and Harris at 14%.

The question that we’ll be very hard to answerby any polling that I know of which is why I’m asking in case someone did some deep diving is who these people would’ve voted for had it not been for Gaza.

It is my contention that it was a lot of people that would’ve otherwise voted for Kamala.

But like I said several times in hopes that people will watch the three parts on Christopher Titus‘s YouTube about how the election was rigged, that is why we lost, rigged election.

with labor, young people, and Hispanics splitting the vote vote, and women not turning out in the numbers anticipated

Those that claim the election was “rigged” have yet to provide credible evidence.

The 2000 election had definite problems, but the main problem is the flawed electoral college. The Southern Strategy of Nixon favors republicans since LBJ and the Civil Rights Act.

The country is full of bigots, sexists, and one-issue voters, and social media which propagates lies and misinformation.

And why I am asking in case there’s any buddy here but yes.

The idea that we lost another election because people demanded that the candidate be with them on 100% of the issues instead of 98% of the issues, will drive me insane.

Granted, this issue is huge, but no rational human being could vote in such a way that puts Trump in office if they support Gaza. By doing so they have literally signed the death warrant of many if not all Palestinians.

The Palestinians are very good at showing carnage and making sure it's spread all over the world. That's their thing. They are extremely graphic. They go into hospitals and film all sorts of things westerners won't film. (No HIPAA or privacy) over there! It would be like us showing videos of school shooting victims mangled victims. They also loop it over and over.

Al Jazeera Arabic has very different content than Al Jazeera English.

To help stop the carnage, I assume. How absurd of them....not really.

I also recall seeing pics, videos and documentaries about Oct. 7th. It was saturation coverage everywhere for months.

People want their suffering seen. Especially when it is in the moment and ONGOING - it's a cry for help, I would think, not an adverisement.

And for certain politicians and their supporters, if it helps sell a WAR, the more pics and videos, whole websites devoted to it even - all the better!

Mon Aug 4, 2025, 11:23 PM

(except for Hamas and that horrific video of the hostage digging his own grave.) The people of Palestine don't even have the capacity to feed themselves. The information is coming from doctors who have been to Gaza and human rights organizations, including two Israeli ones who have investigated the situation in Gaza. The only propaganda comes from the state which is in the process of starving the population to death and constructing a camp where they plan to permanently put all Gazans so they can take the land. The evidence is now overwhelming. The only variable is whether we have enough of a conscience to denounce it.

Doctors like these: https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=20536564

And the leaders of the two Israeli human rights organizations:

If Israel didn't ban journalists from entering Gaza, we could have better information.

Michigan perhaps, but Trump also won states with very low Muslim populations.

The Democratic party should have taken a stand, not because of electoral politics but because it is the only right thing to do, just as we all should take a stand today. The difference now is that the GOP is in power, and they don't give a shit. In fact, they want all the Palestinians killed. We could have stood a chance at persuasion had the Democrats retained power.
