The reason the ACA aka Obamacare exists is because Private Insurance would not pay

for the care of those in the greatest needs. Remember the horror stories of those who spent every penny they had and maxed out their credit cards just trying to pay for care.

Not saying people are not still suffering with extraordinary medical costs, but it definitely is so much better since the start of the ACA. And it is called different names in different states..( I think in Kentucky it is called Kentucky Care) Point being, the republicans are trying to do a switch up. People do not even realize what or where their health care comes from. It is up to us to keep them informed.

Twenty year olds do not remember where their insurance is coming from or how it happened. And they will vote against their own best interests because they do not have the correct information. We have to keep educating people. It is never a one time tell it all and people will remember or somehow magically pick up the knowledge from thin air.

Just reading a couple of posts about a townhall in Lincoln NE and the confrontation with their republican representative who was lying through his teeth. Thank you for putting up the posts of the Lincoln Townhall.

Your missing the point. We have to keep educating people on how things work and not assume they automatically have complete understanding, Democrats make that mistake all the time.. wash rinse and repeat..

when it comes to voting. 20 something year old males voted overwhelmingly for Trump which played a huge role in him winning.

It informed me about stuff I already knew but many are unaware of it.

I have the ACA with tax credits/subsidies and tRump will remove them. My health insur will go from $200 a month to $1,200 a month. That is 60% of my near poverty level income after taxes for CA. I can NOT afford to live. Many will be in my same boat and right now they don't even know it. On Jan 1. 2026 people will be jumping out of windows instead of celebrating a new year.
