Can anyone recommend good body cams and dash cams? There are so many on the market, and they all seem to be written by Chinese with words missing, odd grammar, etc, which does not make them "bad," of course, just makes me wary of them. I've just started looking and my eyes are glazing over. I have looked at a few "Best Body Cams!" listings and they all suggest different models. I'm wondering if any DU members have gotten some and how they are working for you?

maybe an auto-link to the cloud if ICE takes your phone or cam
night mode?
wide-angle lens
easy on/off
GPS?

Dash cam
large capacity
easily removable
link to the cloud?

In this era of ICE nabbing people off the street, cameras seem to be one of the best defenses. Could be that everyone should have one or both.

1. Good question. I was looking for a dashcam

for a year 2000 vehicle. They all seem to fit in to newer systems. Doesn’t look like any for older models.
