about his interactions with Epstein, he should tell them about all the times he saw Donald Trump doing nasty stuff at Epstein's house/plane/island.

It wasn't until Clinton was out of office for two years that he finally locked in a new golf home, and at the time, the union made perfect sense. Clinton would join Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., located just five minutes from the Clinton home in Chappaqua, and where the owner and course namesake was never one to shy from publicity.
"I'm proud to have him," Donald Trump said upon Clinton joining in May 2003. "He's a great gentleman, a good golfer and a wonderful guy."

Now theres a slew of other former officials that have also blown off Congress.
I bet Bill and Hillarys attorney promptly trashed it with a huge laugh

(56,277 posts)He's 78, it was a long time ago, Epstein didn't have bearing on policy or legislative matters, he was just one of thousands and thousands of people he met during a long political career.
People use this defense because it works, whether true or not.

(37,241 posts)And by the way, I never went to the island, and Bill Clinton went there, supposedly, 28 times. I never went to the island, but Larry Summers I hear went there. He was the head of Harvard. And many other people that are very big people, nobody ever talks about them. I've -- I never had the privilege of going to his island.
and there is audio at the link:

and i got that link from this:

in the paragraph:
And by the way, I never went to the island, and Bill Clinton went there, supposedly, 28 times, Trump said when answering questions about Epstein while in Scotland on July 28.
(he says 28 times on july 28)

(33,372 posts)the Secret Service would've had to supervise him, and it publicly, unequivocally said that Clinton never waived protection so he would never have flown there.

If Bill Clinton is guilty, then so be it. But I just cannot see that either.
Bill liked to flirt, and Bill liked attention. But I have NEVER thought of him as someone who would force himself on someone unwilling. I always thought of him as someone who might enjoy the attention of a woman who was flirting with HIM. I would think he had enough women who were doing that and he would not have had to force himself on young girls.
Again, if it's proven that he forcibly raped someone, throw the book at him. But I just cannot see it.

(866 posts)Get kompromant. Not everyone who was on that plane fucked little kids. We just know trump did. Who else did?
What we do know is, Trump hung out with the guy a lot. Met his wives through him, etc. Soooooo. I would rather start at the top with jeffys bestie.
If clinton is on the stand, then he should basically defame trump in any way possible, and then tie that shit up in court. I would honestly just be going off on why the fuck im here when you have the guys best friend in the white house, and he admitted to finding his fucking sex worker wife through the fucking guy ffs.

(79,293 posts)President Clinton was similar to JFK and MLK. His judgement was not good at times, as it was an age when such behaviors were reported in the news. There had been others like Gary Hart. There is zero evidence of his ever focusing on underage girls. That makes him distinct from Epstein, the felon, and some others.
If he does opt to testify, he will do fine. He should not, as a few advocate, try to make his testimony be about the felon. We are not in junior high school any more. He should just tell the truth. That could include his friendship with the felon, who had told Clinton he was considering entering the 2016 primary, when the two were playing golf.

(44,588 posts)Epstein was an early donor to the Clinton Foundation, and back in the early 2000s, the Clinton Foundation needed a plane for its business and Epstein offered use of his and the foundation accepted. This was all before the allegations about Epstein were known.
That's the extent of the relationship--Clinton used the plane four times for Foundation related travel, and never to the island and never with Trump.

Two, any discussion keeps the topic alive and the fact that Donnie is hiding.

(10,497 posts)Clinton says he never visited the island which is likely true because he would have had secret service agents with him. His plane trips were for the Clinton foundation which of course Trump would have nothing to do with.
