I'm upset about
this business of Texas' declaration that they will send squads to arrest Dems avoiding the judicial process (the one they are trying to block.) And, when someone finally asked rumpy about it, he approved.
I don't see how they can do that, but then again I never thought they would disappear innocent citizens off the streets, either, being disguised and secret. I am very concerned about this. This escalation of terrorizing our reps is sobering. I am feeling that Abbott will do it, and being arrested without having committed a crime, and having their seats filled by MAGA, an illegal usurp of the process, is possible. I also feel that it is one step away from execution because the inevitable escalation of the terror is just that, being executed or disappeared because they countered rump.
Rump enjoys what is happening. He's not going to stop it. He's just a wimp, always claiming he didn't know this or that, putting the blame on a third party, just like he was taught. "Me? I know nothing!" But, he likes it. And this is just one more step down the road to total destruction of our Democracy. This is ominous.
What will we do if he arrests some lawmaker on our side and disappears them? We have to prepare for massive protests. I see the Texas Dems as brave men doing their duty. They need our support, our dissent, and we need to let the Orange Pedo know how we feel.
