Chris Cuomo really thinks AOC would say the words "bouncy little fun bags" on House floor

(180 posts)AOC is a master of social media clapback, she swoops in like a ninja with a knife and then disappears leaving her haters stunned and even more angry because she doesn't consider them worthy opponents.

(79,257 posts)Thank you for this. AOC has skills that cannot be either taught or learned. You either are blessed with them, and have worked to perfect them ..... or you are in the vast majority of people who don't have them. In the many years I trained amateur and professional boxers, there were two champions that fighters wanted to imitate: Muhammad Ali, and years later, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. I'd tell them to stop that nonsense. You might know "how," but they knew both "why" and "when." Cuomo has as much a chance debating AOC (or Jasmine Crockett) as I'd have had fighting Frazier, Ali, and Foreman.

(180 posts)Watching a master in any ring is fascinating and AOC is definitely one of the greats, she's fearless, brilliant and always knows when and how to strike.
When I first heard that AOC was going to challenge Rep Crowley in the primary, I knew I had to look closer -- much closer. I was extremely impressed. I knew she was someone special. She not only had experience working for Ted Kennedy and Bernie Sanders, which brought out her natural talents with the understanding of two of my favorite politicians. (I say this, without being influenced by sitting in the same ringside row as Senator Kennedy at the second Frazier vs Ali fight.)
I consider her to be among the most important leaders today.

(180 posts)I enjoy watching her explain complex political issues on social media, she never talks down to people. When she's at work she's always well prepared and doesn't suffer fools, she doesn't lose her temper and waste energy on anger, she's there to do one thing and never loses focus.

(5,119 posts)Cuomo is indeed out of touch in falling for it.
As an aside, I am not sure that OAC and Cuomo are correct in labeling it as a "deepfake." I have thought that the term "deepfake" pertains to a false video which is designed to deceive, which is not the case with this parody video.
