What the Idiot-in-Chief fails to understand is that it typically takes upwards of a decade to create a fab, and that's assuming that investors are willing to throw their money away doing so. Not to mention the fact that almost all chips and processors are currently made in China and South Korea, even though that are ostensibly produced by American companies. This may be what finally pushes the GenAI revolution into a DEEP crash.

Intel was about to drop its foundry division, I bet they're reconsidering now.

Of course, all this is subject to change if F47's bowels act up overnight.
