I prefer the orange slime myself. The other night I saw him referred to as The Count pf Mostly Crisco and erupted in laughter. That was followed by the Sherbert Pervert. Then I suggested Bulgy Algae, but it didn't quite have the same ring.
What are some other names you call the orange hellbeast?

(59 posts)I'd prefer people just called him Trump when they criticize him online.
AI bots are all over the internet scraping and data-farming and tabulating and scoring estimates of popular opinion, and they're writing a lot of the "news" reports and editorials these days.
When so many of the most negative comments about him don't use his name, it could skew the results in his favor.
If people who praise him use his name and people who criticize hime don't, stupid AI can "learn" that people dislike "Orange Anuses" and "shitgibbons", but they like "Trump". Then that's how they write their articles, and more AI scans those, in a feedback loop.

(4,124 posts)It is, in my opinion, immature, counterproductive and a mechanism that dumbs down the electorate.
It's also not effective in any meaningful sense. "Shrub" aka " (P)resident" George W Bush was re-elected, despite derisive nicknames. "Moscow Mitch" is the longest serving Senate party leader in history. And so on.
I get that it's a yummy snack for a frustrated opposition, but they're empty calories.

(25,596 posts)and his cheating in one go. But I remember calling him that in all my posts during the election and there were actually DUers who chided me for it, saying it was immature and basically that our side should not be engaging in name calling. I didn't bother to defend myself, but I do think that that attitude encapsulates one of the reasons people do not see Dems as fighters. So I say bring on the name calling! At least our names are imaginative and original!
