George W. Bush and Barack Obama need to have a joint press conference

To talk about the authoritarian regime that has taken over and they need to do it very quickly we are running out of time and things are even worse than many who consider themselves tuned in realize. .

It should be a no-brainer this should be obvious that they both have to do it and they have to do it right now, I do not believe George W. Bush wants what’s happening to this country to continue to happen, I just think he’s a coward and not willing to do anything about it, stop being a coward.

President Obama, on the other hand, recently defeated Trump
in a fantasy presidential election poll about a third term, by double digits.

Maybe President Obama should have a press conference,
while W remains at home working on mediocre art...

Yeah.

President both saying that the current president is enforcing an authoritarian regime, would be history making and would make news all over the world and it would matter obviously.

There are millions of Republicans who don’t like the piece of shit but they won’t speak out and they won’t get active, this could change all that.

He may have no credibility to you or me but he does especially standing next to President Obama especially talking about this situation.

Seriously, what's there to like about the W administration? Blatant politicization of a massive national tragedy (9/11), a stupid, unnecessary war of choice in Iraq, a disastrous response to Katrina, the financial crisis of 2008, etc.

If you’re a progressive, you understand this. If you’re a moderate, you don’t.

This is where I find myself.

Why do you think anyone making a statement is going to get the majority of Americans to pay attention? We had 4 years of hell with tangerine ass and the majority of Americans who voted wanted him back for a second helping. God could come down and proclaim Trump is a liar, rapist, racist, womanizing, stupid pedophile and a great number of Americans would still vote for him.

Democracy is just a meaningless word to Republicans. It's not a line in the sand in any way, they could care less if the country is free or the people have self governance. Bush is rich, all his friends are rich, his family are all rich, why should he care about the 320M Americans who aren't rich?

Is how we are the minority of Americans who are so tuned into what is happening, millions and millions have no clue this stuff is happening, including rank-and-file Republicans who don’t like the piece of shit but don’t really know what’s going on, this would get their attention you better fucking believe it.

Like you say, it would help restore W‘s horrible legacy to some extent.

Presidential power expansion, the Roberts court that brought on Citizens United, and greased the wheels for the rich to hollow out America.

He felt some responsibility in 2008, but that was almost 20 years ago.

I think he supports the move to a dictatorship, and his scruples are that Trump doesn't act enough like his patrician friends and family. At best, he doesn't care.
