(3,343 posts)Women are the kind of people that people come out of, (pastor doug)Wilson said. No, it doesnt take any talent to simply reproduce.
i've been told "you don't even know what a woman is"

(5,401 posts)Former VA doctor here. I need to know whether you're able to take drugs that would mess up a fetus. It would be nice not to rely on me to not miss this at 3 AM returning an email and writing a prescription, so if we can get "this patient needs a big warning when you try to write a no-no drug for someone who can get pregnant" into our computer system, that's a good thing.
I applaud those who question the process, because as a nation we've gone cuckoo and our government is run by people who shouldn't be within 500 feet of a school.

(5,401 posts)They ended trans-specific (i.e. gender dysphoria/transgender medical support) treatments a few weeks before I quit. They can't kick trans veterans out. If they just want to have providers refuse, that's a weird question. If they want a database, they've got one from the years when they asked about gender adding a data point to compare with birth sex data.
I've treated trans vets since 2000, before and during the acceptance period, quitting before this new period (although at the end I didn't have any trans patients, just a few trans coworkers who were making plans to move away). Getting cholesterol medication and gallbladder surgery and such was never an issue.

(2,958 posts)Ive seen this question on intake forms, but instead its phrased, Are you currently pregnant, and is it possible for you to get pregnant in the next 90 days, or something to that effect.
