Andrew Cuomo had his greatest moments at the beginning of the pandemic...
and many of his worst moments before then, although I didn't hear about them until afterwards....

Every time he sexually harassed a woman, he should have stopped and thought
"what could this do to my future political ambitions?",
and before that, "this is WRONG"....

I remember when, as lieutenant governor in the 1970s, Mario Cuomo would work with the Traditionals at the Onondaga Territory. They liked him. But Andrew, who accompanied his father, they did not trust. I remember a Clan Mother saying that Andrew had no soul.

According to my abacus, for someone to afford a $2300/month apartment, rent controlled or not, he/she/they would need to be earning approximately $90,000 a year*. Even for NYC that ain't chump change. So who is this "poor woman" having to stay in a homeless shelter? And why are the people running it letting some middle class individual occupy, longterm, a space sorely needed by someone a lot less affluent? I know that there are times when even a relatively well to do person/family might need to temporarily stay in a shelter. But that's not what Cuomo is implying. He's talking longterm.

* I'm basing that number of what I remember from my old job with a County Housing Department. Federal rule was the tenant would pay no more than 30% of gross income for rent. I believe that's more or less what most landlords use in determining who can afford to rent in one of their properties.

He is a self-entitled prick. Always has been. That's why he felt he could harass women, and that's why he felt he was entitled to any position he decided to run for.

He is only interested in the Mayor job because he was so humiliated being forced out of the Governor job because he couldn't stop harassing women. He thought he could redeem his ego by becoming Mayor, and surely all he had to do was tell people he was running and that would be that.

Well, he lost the primary, and not by a little. He got his ass kicked. But people like Cuomo and Trump can't ever accept the most obvious fact that people are sick of them. Surely the primary loss was just some fluke, but by running as an independent, that will finish off Mamdani.

That's what is in this guy's noggin. It has absolutely nothing to do with serving the people or solving problems or any of that. The only problem he is trying to solve is his own ego. And each step he takes is leading to a more crushing defeat of his monumental ego. He is now starting to see this is going to end in the must humiliating way possible for him, and that is killing him.

Fuck that guy. Fuck every politician who is in it for their own ego.
