RIP Jim Lovell: an AMAZING 2 minute clip from the Mini Series From the Earth to the Moon:

Worth your time: Apollo 8 December 1968. Lovell's crew are the first humans to see an "Earthrise." The music and scene are incredible!

The episode ends with congratulatory telegrams, with the last one from a woman who wrote, "You saved 1968." The line always got to me when I taugh US History and showed the kids the scene. The last scene is not in this clip. Enjoy!
