1. That AI-generated narration really draws you in, right?

It’s like listening to paint dry.

3. Funny, I hate that type of narrative/reading. I didn't realize it was AI, although I should have.

There are thousands of videos on YouTube with this style of narrative. Ugh. Now I realize why I hated it so much, it's not real. Give me a real human voice with real human inflection and emotion.

4. This is the closest I have heard. The pronunciation of words are correct.

Words like a "wound" being an injury but usually pronounced like thread "wound" on a spool.

Being from the south I like the sound of the narrative they way some word are drawn out instead of just spoken.

An a lot of instances expressed that I had forgotten about. This one about children being a form of currency. Easy sold and bartered away.

Reminding me of the girl that Epstein "stole" from Trump's Mar a Lago.

5. For me it's not the words or the story that seems to grind on me.

It's the cadence and the rhythm of the "speaker". I have no trouble with the story, but the voice makes my teeth grind. I like to hear an emotion behind the words. I can now say, I like to hear a human behind the voice. I now know that's what's missing for me. I didn't realize it before. Sometimes I am so "old world".

half-heartedly reading a creative writing assignment that was also generated by AI.

9. I think you are right.. But I do not think that the actual voice is AI like most of the stories.

It seems most of these You Tube stories are AI creations from actual Reddit stories.

But this narrator seems better than most of the audio books I have bought. Daniel Suarez uses a pretty good narrator for his books.

No matter who's narrating. Will finish listening in a few. I love Westerns, and the History Channel.

Thanks for a good story.,
