How do we get ahead of the bubble?

We are either behind the bubble or on the bubble but we are NOT ahead of the bubble.

In January, I wanted our local Dem Club to get small lawn signs with the upside down American flag. No bites. No takers. Too soon they said.
After the local and Tesla demonstrations started I wanted the flag and a friendly post card campaign to encourage voters to stay informed. Nope, not yet. Let’s wait.
Many many demonstrations are still taking place. But it seems to be the Epstein thingy and Colbert and South Park that’s gaining a bit of attention.
Are we moving from behind the bubble to the top of the bubble? Do we have the collective will to get ahead of the bubble.
If we think we are doing enough now, we are wrong.

Perhaps the ultimate victory of the fascist right is that whatever is done, it won’t be enough.

There’s zero chance Democrats will win control of the Senate, regardless how energized and engaged Democrats might be and the mood of the country.

And in Republican-controlled states, Republicans are gerrymandering Congressional districts to disenfranchise likely Democratic voters to retain control of the House.

4. Ridiculous. This website gives Democrats currently a 33.9% chance of winning the Senate.

Even Polymarket has the Democrats currently at 29%. If you think there is zero chance, then what are you even doing here?

And Republicans will not be able to gerrymander their way to keeping the House. It's more likely to end up costing them extra seats rather than helping them.

5. In between elections, there is no Democratic Party to speak of (warning, strong fucking language)

whereas the GOP is 24 by 7 by 365 with the hate machine.

No consistent message is being shared except by our two freedom fighters, Bernie and AOC.

Who is drawing huge crowds BEFORE election season, when minds are made up?

Just the two.

That's not to belittle the efforts of governors, reps and senators. They just aren't raising hell.

I've posted endlessly about this. The most recent, calling out the couch potatoes.

An open letter to Democratic leaders. This is our Normandy. Marshall all our forces or lose to fascist rule.

How fucking important is this?
So important that if we don't pull together en masse, we'll be in masse concentration camps.
THAT fucking important.

So, to the couch potatoes, I say
We've got secret police and concentration camps.
FIGHT or go home and get your f******* shine box.

From the oligarchy tour (and this is obviously not a complete platform, it focuses on the economy)

Elections are won BEFORE election year, by setting expectations and wants.
From Bernie:

People attending rallies in huge numbers are saying
YES to raising the minimum wage,
YES to expanding Social Security,
YES to guaranteeing health care as a human right,
YES to cutting the cost of prescription drugs,
YES to paid family and medical leave,
YES to equal pay for equal work,
YES to more affordable housing,
YES to making childcare and higher education affordable to all,
YES to taking on the existential threat of climate change.

And most importantly they are saying
YES to a government and an economy that works for all of us and not just the billionaire class and the Oligarchs.

Another blast from the past.

Things have already gone too far for business as usual.

Goddam it, we already have secret police and concentration camps.

IT MUST STOP NOW

Every day of acquiescence makes an end to fascism more costly in lost freedom and LIVES.
