Does Marco Rubio have Stockholm Syndrome?

Honestly, he strikes me as someone who is being held hostage. Every now and then they lead him to a camera and he obediently reads a script.

He was never someone I liked, but it seems like the old Marco is gone.

When I had a kink in my wife's immigration process back in 2012. In fact, his was the only office that was helpful at all. My democratic congress woman and Senators were useless.

I hated his politics, but he was damn good at doing the job of Senator.

I can't reconcile that Senator to what I see today.

but he's saying and doing it anyhow because he anticipates a chance for the presidency when Trump is out of the picture. In the meantime he's singing Trump's tune, keeping himself in the spotlight in a way that wouldn't be possible for a mere senator. He's a hostage to his own ambition, and he's not letting whatever principles he might have once had stand in the way.

He just realizes he now works for Trump instead of the Fanjul family or his older benefactors.

He's a retainer for the elite. That's all he has ever been.
