I never ever would have guessed that vinnie barbarino from welcome back, kotter and kip Wilson from bosom buddies would end up being superstars.

I thought they were both lousy actors.

It got stale after that. By the last season, Gabe Kaplan was pretty much MIA as he was having issues with the producer. I think he did come back at the end when Arnold Horshack got married.
