"The Pandemic's Not Done: Why Hundreds of COVID Deaths Still Happen Weekly in the U.S. in 2025"

This is the title to an article from the site "askdrnandi". It references CDC numbers:

"Five years into the pandemic, COVID-19 continues to claim American lives—around 350 people per week as of April 2025, according to the CDC. While this figure is far below the January 2021 peak of nearly 26,000 weekly deaths, it remains a sobering reminder that the virus hasn’t disappeared."

That January 2021 figure sure is a reminder of how awful it was while Crumb the 1st was pretending it was no big deal. The article notes one of the main reasons we still see the number of deaths we do is because:

"Only 23% of adults and 13% of children in the U.S. received the updated COVID-19 vaccine for the 2024–2025 season. That leaves a large portion of the population without current protection against the virus, making them more susceptible to severe illness."

Another main reason is also detailed:

" After more than five years, many people have understandably let their guard down. Masking, testing, and even basic precautions have fallen by the wayside. This widespread complacency creates an environment where the virus can continue to spread, especially to vulnerable groups who still face serious risks."

Now combine these facts with the moron running HHS telling people it's cool to skip vaccines of all kinds and try cod liver oil and we can see we are headed for real trouble.

ago, while dealing with the magat members of her family. Thankfully, it was not a truly severe case, as she is not in the best of health.

a fairly mild case about four months ago, and is now experiencing brain fog. Again, someone with serious health conditions. All of our group are older, most with various health conditions, but with enough sense to vaccinate.

Covid is ENDEMIC. It's not going away. It will remain a threat that kills people, just like the Flu.

Will we be able to get updated vaccinations every year that account for new strains? TBD.
