Trump treats the National Guard like they are toy soldiers.

Never mind the lives that all the Guardsman are living. Fuck all those employers who are now short of help. Never mind all that, bring them to D.C. to sit around and sleep on the floor and ground and sweat their asses off in this heat.

On July 28, 1932, U.S. government troops, led by MacArthur, Patton and Eisenhower, attacked World War I veterans camped out in DC, using soldiers with bayonets, tanks and tear gas. The WWI vets, known as the "Bonus Army," had come to Washington, D.C. demanding their promised wartime bonuses.
