On January 6 2021, there was a big riot in Washington DC, instigated by Donald Trump, who encouraged his supporters to march to the Capitol Building by telling them lies about the presidential election.

When they got there, they assaulted hundreds of police officers (causing the deaths of a couple) and vandalized the beautiful, historic building on their way to try to hang the vice president and various members of Congress. They smashed windows, caused millions of dollars in property damage, and stole personal and government property from offices.

Then, when he became president again, Donald Trump gave pardons to all of those people and let them out of jail, even the ones with long sentences for violently assaulting cops and committing seditious conspiracy.

And then today Donald Trump went on TV and said he was sending the National Guard into DC and federalizing its police force, in order to combat violent crime and protect government property, even though violent crime in DC is currently down 26% from 2024, which was down 35% from 2023.

If I have all that right, then I guess I just have one more question...
