the things that you post. And I've never liked seeing others insult you. However, before you leave, I want you to think about something that happened to me on DU years ago. If you still opt to leave GD, I will miss seeing you here, as it is the lone forum I post on overall.

Years ago, a human being who posted on DU:GD stated that they had evidence that I was actually Patrick Buchanan. Think about that! There is no greater insult to an Irishman than being called Patrick Buchanan! Why, if that person was still on DU, I would think they were actually Steve Bannon. Or maybe Stephen Miller.

I didn't quit posting on GD. I figure it's like looking in a mirror, how your reflection is the same distance away as you are. My younger son pointed that out to me one day, saying that exactly as many people couldn't stand me, as liked me. I think that is true on the internet and in real life. And I'd bet a dollar to a penny the same holds true for you.

that it is a shame that this happens here of all places, and that it is allowed to continue, unchallenged for the most part. The same thing happens if you are Christian. You aren't allowed to post about Christianity at all unless you bash it or post hamulating things, then it's totally Ok.
At this point, I still post, but I often cannot post what I wish for various reasons. Real world truths are attacked and even removed. It is the bullying and shaming, and it is rampant. Nothing is ever done about it either, which only serves to further encourage it.
