At least some American officials knew that Dahud Hanid Ortiz had been convicted of a triple murder when he was put on the plane to the United States.
He killed three people in Spain and fled to Venezuela, where he was sentenced to 30 years in prison, court documents show. Then last week, the Trump administration negotiated his release as part of a large prisoner swap, and he arrived on American soil.
Now, the convict, Dahud Hanid Ortiz, 54, a U.S. Army veteran, is free in the United States, according to two people with knowledge of the case. One said he was in Orlando, Fla.
When the Americans put Mr. Hanid Ortiz on a plane on Friday back to the United States, at least some people in the Trump administration knew of his criminal past, according to a third person.

(33,080 posts)Krasnov based his right to unilaterally impose tariffs all over the world on gangs from Venezuela being sent to the US. Krasnov released a triple murderer into the US from a prison in Venezuela.
The New York Times and Rachel Maddow let us know about this, I don't recall Congressional Democrats speaking out in the floor of the House or in the Senate. Put it on the record Democrats, that Krasnov's reason for doing tariffs is bogus, and yeah, we can say that Krasnov is not tough on crime.
Maybe I missed it, maybe a Congressional Democrat did speak out about this, I mean the prisoner swap wasn't that long ago maybe they haven't had time to do this yet?
If not, whenever its long vacation is over, maybe someone can put this into the records of Congress?
Isn't a decision coming soon from the courts about Krasnov's right to impose tariffs? Was this information known soon enough to shoot down Krasnov's argument?

He has also been on a tear about how the White House Press sycophants don't call out Trump's lies, especially about who pays for tariffs.

(866 posts)Democrats. When do you guys think more democrats will be killed? Within a year? I am talking high level democrats.
This isn't a joke. We are on the russian path to fascism, and I suspect a few have already happened on our soil. This is why I thought more democratic leaders would be worried, but I guess not.
