Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsSorry, but this is an important question: Has Donald Trump ever had sexual relations with Ghislaine Maxwell?
I know there is not enough brain bleach after this thought. But, we went through an entire impeachment process with Bill over this.
This is important in this could seriously be part of the cover-up that has/is leading to the extraordinary treatment and possible clemency of one of the most prolific child molesters, EVER.
Trump is a horn dog know for trying to bed the wives of his friends. Maxwell was a social climber looking for any way to get close to money and power after her father's death that left her penniless. And she was fairly attractive and obviously had no morals, and hung out in the same circles as Donald and Melania and Epstein. There have been numerous photos documenting this.
Michael Wolff has said that Epstein told him that Trump and Epstein actually 'shared' the same girlfriend for nearly a year, so Maxwell being 'shared' is not a huge step.
One final question: Did Melania ever sleep with Epstein as she came out of the same 'Modeling Agency' racket all these people were part of?
I would like to see this question asked of some of the reporters and writers who have been reporting on Epstein and Maxwell.

Epstein houseman describes degrading regimen imposed by Ghislaine Maxwell at mansion
By julie k. brown and Ben Wieder Updated December 2, 2021 9:46 PM
It was very degrading to me, said the former Palm Beach houseman, Juan Alessi, on day four of Maxwells federal sex-trafficking trial in New York.
It was amazing she did that to her employees, he said. It was an incredible amount of work... .I told her I would not do it. I could not do the checklist. Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epsteins alleged procurer of young women, was arrested July 2, 2020, in New Hampshire.
Alessi, who worked for Epstein and Maxwell from 1990 to 2002, said that both Maxwell and Epstein instructed them to keep their mouths shut about what went on at the mansion. Employees were ordered to not even look at Epstein. Remember you hear nothing, see nothing and say nothing except to answer a question to you, one of their instructions read.
And here's the manual, at documentcloud.
You may read or download it.
FOLKS, DON'T TRY THIS AUTHORITARIAN BULLSHIT AT HOME.

The impeachment you mention was in an entirely different context. The felon was not in the Oval Office when he knew Maxwell.
The important thing is the child sex ring. What consenting adults do is, at very best, a meaningless distraction. There are a thousand more important questions that need to be answered.

(31,167 posts)Let them explain group sex featuring oral sex between the first lady and a convicted child molester. The point is to make them talk about it and demoralize their base of crotch-sniffers. Make them speak about it. Make them defend it.

(78,461 posts)a distinct concept from the OP's interest in if the felon rode the baloney pony with Ms. Maxwell. Since there is less than a zero percent chance that the individuals you reference would have the ethical/moral ability to tell the truth, there is also a less than zero percent chance that either could be made to "speak about it" much less "defend it."
I will suggest that we remain focused on the real things that can happen instead. For example, make the Palm Beach police investigation public. Call Julie Brown, the journalist who exposed the crimes of Epstein, and the failure of Alex Acosta to hold him responsible. Call Maria Farmer, the one who in 1996 reported Epstein and the felon for sex offenses and underage girls to law enforcement. Call any of the other victims who are ready and willing to testify. Open the depositions from the numerous civil cases. Open the FBI files on their investigations of Epstein and Maxwell.
It is best to concentrate on both what is real, and can be documented, with those who will actually tell the truth. It is a waste of time to fantasize about doing things that, even if they are real, cannot be documented, and questioning liars.

(1,929 posts)Trump spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover up a one night stand with a porn star. Which he then tried to write off as falsified business expenses and resulted in 34 felony convictions. Having sex once with a porn star while your latest wife and child are at home is a bad look.
Having a sexual relationship with a woman who is a convicted child molester and has recruited as many as a THOUSAND teen age school girls into sexual servitude to Jeffrey Epstein is on a whole other level. Especially if Trump is now going to magically wipe away her criminal conviction and let her out of federal prison where she would otherwise spend most of the rest of her life. And if part of Trump's reason in giving Maxwell a pardon is his own personal and/or physical relationship with this predator, may be important.
As far as timing, ALL the criminal activity that Maxwell was involved in happened before about 2004 or so as she left Epstein when he was first arrested. Probably for good reason since she was so involved in the sexual abuse. I have not heard whether Epstein continued his assaults after Maxwell left, or who was his recruiter if he did.
Epstein and Trump both treated the 'models' - the girls and women they abused- as 'things', not people. The question of what else they shared, or who, seems relevant to understanding this sordid affair.
And Trump's involvement seems to be the first crack, the first thing he has not just been able to wish away with some of the hardcore MAGA base. If he looses enough support, maybe a few of the Republicans in congress will start to find some backbone. I can't see any other way to stop him.

(20,470 posts)I've been disappointed so often, thinking that some transgressions will surely be the one that does in him, that I've become completely skeptical.

(3,776 posts)Ghislaine herself isn't Trump's type -- she's too old, and by his standards was too old even when Trump was younger.
As for whether Epstein boned Melania, that's a different question, and almost certainly a yes. A pimp, especially a high class pimp like Epstein, will want to know how his girls are coming across as well as enjoying that perk of the job. Ghislaine may have also been involved, since she was a procuress who would also need to know who does what the best for pairing up purposes.
I'd put chances that Epstein and Maxwell match-made Donnie and Melania north of 90%.
H2O Man
(78,461 posts)"too old" human beings, Maxwell used to be young. And the felon dated plenty of women older than her.
There is no question that Epstein introduced the felon to Melania.
