All these people in tactical gear vs Postal workers in short sleeves and shorts?

Postal workers visit every part of every city in America six times a week relatively safely every day.
I am guessing the only reason all this military type gear is all over the place is because a 1 percent trump donor makes it all.

Making people wear all that gear in this heat with no apparent threat is just mean (pukey). IMO.

All that gear. In DC. In August.

In LA, I read the troops were sleeping on the floors without adequate food or water. They, too, were hot, bored and grumpy.

makes for very unhappy troops. Sooner or later there will be mutiny, particularly among National Guardsmen. They don't appreciate the cosplay. They didn't sign up for this shit.

The more people shoved into vans, holding cells, airplanes, foreign jails - the better. Quotas gotta be met!

And I'll bet there is bonus pay if you get injured in the line of duty. Like someone throws a subway sandwich in your direction.

Nice thing about this is that most of the "overtime" and "bonus" aren't sent to the tax authorities (such as they still exist.) Tax-free thuggery!

Imagine a 16yo boy who is tired of shoot-em up games in his parent's basement. Now he can be a patriotic hero and make big bucks! Not sure that will help with his incel status, however.

And how many of them will be crying to juries that they were only following orders when they kill unarmed civilians?
