Several red states have maternal and child death rates equal to third-world countries.
The US has the worst maternal and child death rates of any developed nation, mostly caused by the rates in red states because Republicans like to deny healthcare for poor people, especially black and brown women. The maternal death rate for black women is three times that of white women and two times for Hispanic women. But Republucns only care about the life of an embryo. No one else matters.
