Wow! The tariffs are even hurting Walmart!

They are closing massive amounts of stores throughout the country! Most of stores are affecting the smaller communities which are the only shopping stores in their region. Now, people who are low income must drive no less than 50 miles to buy their necessities!

Thanks Donald! Your lame ass tariffs are going to go down as the worst policy ever!

the tariffs are probably worse for Walmart than for retailers who don't carry so much imported stuff.

Walmart closes 11 stores as part of restructuring strategy

Additionally, as part of its latest expansion plan, the retailer hopes to open more small neighborhood markets as well. Last year, in Santa Rosa Beach near Destin, Fla., a Walmart Market store had opened and now once we reach summer, a new Neighborhood Market will be opened by Walmart in the Tuscaloosa area. The Florida region will also welcome new Neighborhood Markets in the Milton and Pace areas in the coming months.

The story I heard was about they were going continue to close more store as long as they need to stay ahead of their profit margin to adjust.

includes all kinds of stores. Maybe that’s what you saw. The articles are slightly misleading.

To mitigate, they're squeezing their business partners in an apparent attempt to eat the tariffs.

Sorry to prove you wrong, but the facts don't support your claim.
This could change as the tariff's take hold and start to affect their bottom line, but not yet.

But he tops himself constantly. This putin meeting is going to be a disaster. And just today he puts the other skank genius, Ivanka, in charge of the proposed MMA cage match on the WH lawn. WTAF. Just typing that sentence - W.T.A.F. has happened in 7 months? America won't recover for decades. If ever.

A lot of business are trimming costs and unprofitable stores. It’s not possible to close because of tariffs before the tariffs are imposed. Walmart has been closing stores.
