Well over the past 40- odd years, I've had the occasion to get a Subway meatball sub where the bread had sat out just a bit too long.
I like baguette bread, but not once it's aged to the consistency of the upper trunk of a Christmas tree.
A Subway sub - or more likely , a convenience store "Ham and Cheez" sub - can be considered a weapon depending on its expiration....
