First Lady Melania Trump has threatened to sue Hunter Biden for more than $1bn after he claimed she was introduced to her husband by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Lawyers acting on behalf of the first lady, who married US President Donald Trump in 2005, described the claim as "false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory".

Biden, son of former US President Joe Biden, made the comments during an interview earlier this month, in which he strongly criticised the president's former ties to Epstein.

I also have no issue with "how much English" someone can speak.

What I DO have an issue with is the marketing copy about how Melania speaks varying numbers of languages "fluently," but she's been here 25 years and I would not call her English "fluent."

I don't care...I mention it because the MAGAts love to yell "IF YOU'RE GOING TO LIVE HERE LEARN THE LANGUAGE," and they give her a pass. Maybe it's supposed to be "demure" and "charming"...she's neither...but I grew up in Massachusetts and I do not say "I PAHKED my CAH in HAHVARD YARD." So it's all or nothing, MAGAts. Give the queen a pass and give EVERYONE A PASS.

Melania told MSNBC in February 2016 that she spoke "English, Italian, French, German." Alongside her native Slovenian, that makes the five languages Crowley referred to. While it's also been claimed that she can speak Serbian, Newsweek could not find Melania claiming that herself.

This self-reported talent has been taken at face value but there's little evidence that confirms it.

I think being denied the covers of Vanity Fair and Vogue, during Trump's first term, was as big of a burn for her as Trump being smoked by Obama at the White House Correspondent's Dinner.

The first word I'd use to describe her is "entitled." I don't know where that came from, I really have no interest in getting mired in her "story" or her psyche, but...entitled.

And the worst thing you can do to an "entitled" person is to tell them they're not the kind of person they want on the cover of their magazine which has many brilliant, talented, women ON those covers.

And, she stole Michelle Obama's speech.

She's a sham, just like her husband.
