8:43 a.m.:

A C-17 just few over on a departure route from JB Andrews. It's headed NW, in the direction of Alaska, perhaps. It might be carrying support vehicles for Trump's visit.

9:44 a.m.:

A second C-17 just flew over on a departure route from JB Andrews, headed the same way. The first C-17 is over the middle of Michigan, the lower part.

We might be preparing to invade Canada, because there are three K35Rs in the skies between Columbus OH and Grand Rapids MI.

10:42 a.m.:

There goes a third C-17. Trump is taking an awful lot of vehicles with him.

11:15 a.m.:

Two more planes headed west The first is s Belgian Airbus A-400M, an odd visitor to these parts. It's headed west, not northwest/

The second one is yet another C17, the fourth one today headed in the direction of Alaska.

There had been a fifth C-17 headed that way, but this one too off from Martinsburg WV.

That base is HUGE.

Spent 3 1/2 days there in October of 2017 in an attempt to fly to Australia via Hawaii, Guam, then Australia in a C-17.

The schedule, released later, showed the actual departure time. Trump was originally scheduled to leave the WH for JBA at 6:45 a.m.

8. Early Saturday morning

A Gulfstream C-37A is headed from JB Elmendorf-Richardson to JB Andrews. It is just about over Lake Superior and will soon reenter US airspace.

The registration number is 01-0029.
