Bookmark and keep these FACTS about Social Security handy because Republicans keep telling LIES about this beloved, efficient, and vital insurance program, to set the stage for privatizing and destroying it.
If we don't fight for it, we will LOSE it (as we know it) and so will our kids and grandkids. If it continues to exist, benefits will be drastically cut, and the cost of running it will skyrocket. Seniors will pay for that additional cost with cuts in their benefits.
