Pew Research: Trump Minus 22
President Donald Trump's approval rating dropped to 38% in a new Pew Research Center survey as some of his supporters sour on his performance and key initiatives prove unpopular.Trump's approval rating is down three points since June and nine points since shortly after his inauguration, when it stood at 47%. Meanwhile, 60% of U.S. adults now disapprove of Trump's performance, the survey found.
Contributing to Trump's declining support: Among those who voted for him in 2024, only 85% say they approve of his performance, down from 88% in June and 95% shortly after this election, according to Pew. Trump's support also has dipped among nonvoters.
