Trump is so cruel. Everyone knows housing the homeless

is the first step in getting them employed and self sufficient. They need time to deal with their issues. They need an address to get income support....... oh there it is.

Giving homeless people stable housing was federal policy for decades. Trump is ending it

1. You can't afford a modicum of housing. You're homeless. In prior times, the government at least would have social workers and shelters to try to get you on your feet. Not anymore.

2. Whether or not you're homeless (but it doesn't help if you are), and there is domestic violence, Child Protection gets involved. Your children are removed from you and given to foster families. But these days, there is incentive to terminate your parental rights and allow your children to be adopted. Less social and psychological services to help you. Yeah, there is some reunification, but the employees for Child Protection get a stipend for every child they help get adopted. That's a conflict of interest.

3. Your ability to access food for your family is rapidly being compromised. Less food banks/pantries. And the "Big, Beautiful Bill is cutting Food Stamps/EBT, less money with rising costs of food, thanks to tariffs.

It's incremental genocide of the Poor.
