The plane left JB Andrews at 6:00 a.m. this morning. It is, as I post, making a stopover at Fairchild AFB in Spokane WA.

The support C-17s that departed JB Andrews yesterday took a great circle route over Michigan and Manitoba.

Why not take the shortest route, like the C-17s, and refuel in Canada (maybe Edmonton AB)?

Am also locally concerned - less about Canada, more about crossing back - since a cousin informed she is "going to Canada for a few days." Will a passport or a birth certificate still hold water?
