I was sitting here procrastinating on my work and thinking about Newsom's stellar long overdue trolling of T Rump as well as Mary Trump saying mockery is the best way to undermine the vile orange fascist mafioso. This is what occurred to me:
Apparently the maga types feel looked down upon by democrats, educated people, the amorphous elite class and a long list of others. To avoid digressing, I'll put aside the fact that this narrative of condescension is largely propaganda-driven, false and ridiculously simplistic. Anyway, this narrative says these forgotten people feel looked down upon and feel Trump's bullying behavior speaks for them and allows them to identify with a so-called strong man who is on their side. In a brilliant case of truth is stranger than fiction, the destructive selfish orange dictator is cast as the ultimate alpha male.
Calling T Rump out as an obese, orange, spray-tanned, hair sprayed, diaper-wearing idiot with cankles recasts that image and, most importantly, makes him an undesirable figure to identify with. YES! If your misguided self-concept makes you identify with an alpha male, then fucking crush his false alpha male image so that people brain-washed by toxic masculinity are ashamed to identify with him.
Mind you, I am vehemently opposed to body-shaming in every other instance, but 100% behind it in this case. I never ever mock anyone for their hair, weight or other characteristics. I do not even think that way about people. However, I think this is different. By way of explanation, if I personally knew someone who was overweight, ugly, utterly vile and harming me and others, but cast themselves as a trim, altrusistic beauty queen, I think I'd call them out as delusional in multiple ways.

(2,244 posts)You're not actually mocking the body Trump has -- you're mocking the body-facade he puts up to make himself look like his dick tater ideal: shoe lifts, girdle, fake monkey hair weaves or whatever it is, overdosed-on-Tang orange makeup, expensive suits that look cheap, and Lord knows what else.
If he was just sitting around like a retired out of shape philandering grandpa at the beach, all moobs and sunburned tiny hands, no one would care.
Or at least, charitable people who loathe fascism wouldn't care. Mean magat bullies would have a field day.

(48,874 posts)which I think is the perfect thing to focus on. Do his Truth Social posts look or read like something a competent, rational adult would produce? COME ON, MEDIAthe real story they should be following each and every day is that a country of 300 million people is being run by someone who is not a competent, rational adult, and nearly every Republican in every branch of our government is supporting and enabling this.
