I submit this characterization of trump's greeting of putin for your consideration:

From Will Stancil on bluesky: "Standing and waiting like a pet poodle for a murderous foreign dictator who kills America's friends and allies, trying to suck up to him by rolling out a show of the armed forces that mostly exist to fight that very dictator."

Too harsh?

Since he doesn't know chess, he'll probably do what most 3-year-olds would do...... throw the board up in the air, storm away and say he won.

She usually decides she's just going to take all his pieces and move them wherever she wants.

Totally adorable with a 4YO. Not so much with an 80YO rapist narcissist.

So much mental illness and perceptional deficiency. Pathetic that someone with his resources never had the courage to get therapy. What is it with these well off entitled piggies?

I think this was even more embarrassing than Helsinki.

He acted like a fanboy standing there clapping as Putin deplaned. Then let Putin blow up any agenda he had.

This was a grotesque display of servility. He showed total weakness.

The truth is I don't care. Whatever it is, it's all about him and his own selfish desires. But in this case it is hard not to wonder what he thought he was demonstrating with his very visual display of giddiness. He knew it was being filmed and would be shown around the world.
