1. Think outside of the box. When the Trucker Convoy had taken

over Parliament Hill in Ottawa for weeks in 2022, I noticed something. They were refurbishing the center block. There were (are) three huge construction cranes on Parliament Hill. I suggested they pick one truck (they were mostly the cabs of 18 wheeler rigs). Disabbuse it of its diesel and oil. Pick it up by crane. Lift it over the Parliament buildings and drop it in the Ottawa River.

Everyone I told it too thought it was a great idea. I never publicized it. But it might have scared off some of those obnoxious truckers.

Find people who think laterally or have divergent thinking and brainstorm with them.

2. The one big thing that comes to my mind with the corrupt appeasement of our

voting system by Texas Gov. Abbott in order to please the Orange Jesus is this....

Most democrats when asked if they prefer doing the right thing will usually say YES but the GOP when asked will usually say WHO CARES if it means winning.

You can't blame the California Dems for wanting a independent commission to decide gerrymandering issues - it seems the ethical thing to do. The GOP has no ethics - they have proven that over and over.

They GOP does not care about democracy at all as long as they get what they want. Period. Snd they sure as hell do not want people of color, Native Americans, Asian, or Hispanics to decide how white people live - they will not stand for it.

3. And how many admonitions did many of us get about this a couple of days ago saying we wanted Dems to do more?

I know of one poster, at least, who has decided to stay away from DU over the thread that I am referencing.

Newsome "gets it" and it is damn time the rest of the Democrats start getting it, too.

This man is FINALLY some hope and I am loving everything he is doing. He's pissing Trump off, he's being aggressive and standing toe to toe with Trump, the bully.

I sincerely hope that I don't start hearing bullshit whining that he's "going too far" and "we're becoming what they are".
